What We Love Weekends - SF Pride Weekend

With only 13 states left to legalize same-sex marriages, on the 26th of June of 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that all state bans on same-sex marriage are considered to be unconstitutional! Translation: Love wins in all 50 states of America! Marriage for all!!

Awesomely enough, we were able to partake in our first San Francisco Pride during the weekend of the LOVE WINS ruling! As much as we love NYC pride, San Francisco knows how to celebrate... rainbows and all!

It was such a great weekend celebration filled with friends and love! It was as if the entire bay area showed up celebrate and partake in pride festivities. We love NYC Pride, but what we absolutely loved about SF Pride was the overall energy. Everyone was super chill, respectful, and friendly! There was so much pride and happiness in the air as we all celebrated together!

Important Reminder

While marriage equality across the nation is a monumental step for the United States, it is also important to recognize that the fight for equality is far from over. We still have a long way to go.

Here are a few issues that need ongoing awareness and action...

Lastly, we wanted to give a huge CONGRATS to our bisexual friends and their families! We tend to be ignored and/or underrepresented, especially during media coverage, but the SCOTUS ruling affects us as well! Wear your BiPride and be BiConfident! Visit the Bisexual Resource Center <3 for further resources and support.
